JANUARY
JAN 1-31, 2010 - SIGN-UPS
- In-person sign-ups will be taking place every
weekend during these dates at Bellevue Bowl located at 785 W.
Bellevue Road in Atwater from 11:00am - 3:00pm. You may save
time by pre-printing and filling out your registration, coach and or
volunteer form(s).
JAN. 1-31, 2010 - SIGN-UPS
- Sign-ups can also be turned in daily at either of
our drop-off locations: Bellevue Bowl, 785 W. Bellevue Road, Atwater
or The U.P.S. Store, 257 E. Bellevue Road, Atwater, CA 95301 during
normal business hours. Please ensure that you have pre-printed your
registration form and included a check or money order as cash
will not be accepted, and be sure to thank them for offering this
service for us.
JAN. 5, 2010 - MONTHLY BOARD
MEETING - The monthly A.Y.B.S. & T. Board Meeting
will be held at the Atwater Community Center from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
Parents, Coaches, New Volunteers, and Visitors are always
welcome! If you have a specific item you would like to address with
the board please call ahead to be placed on the agenda for the
meeting.
JAN. 7. 2010 - COACH'S MEETING -
All returning and new potential Coaches are asked to attend
this meeting to discuss the upcoming baseball & softball season.
The meeting will be held at the Atwater Community Center at
7:00pm.
FEBRUARY
FEB. 1-7 2010 - SIGN-UPS

FEB 2, 2010 - TRI-TIP TICKET
TURN-IN - All pre-sold Tri-Tip tickets are to be turned in
by this day.
FEB 6, 2010 - TRI-TIP
FUNDRAISER - The Annual Tri-Tip BBQ Dinner will be
held at the Food 4 Less parking lot directly behind McDonald's on
Shaffer Road. The meal will include Marinated BBQ Tri-Tip, Home-Made
Chili Beans, Salad & a Dinner Roll all for only $10. Meals will
be served from 11:00am - 3:00pm.
NBD - MANDATORY COACHES
MEETING - To be held at the Atwater Community Center
at 7:00pm. NO SHOW MAY MEAN NO-COACH! All Coaches and
rostered Assistant Coaches should attend. All head coaches must
name the official "Assistant Coach" for the team that day in order
for them to be placed on thier team roster!
FEB 13 2010 - BOYS BASEBALL
TRYOUTS - Boys Baseball try-outs will be held at the
Mitchell Baseball fields beginning at 10:00am. The start actual
time will be based on the division the player will be
playing in this season (click here to view the schedules). Check in
will be by the middle of the school fence on Juniper Ave.
FEB 14, 2010 - BOYS BASEBALL
DRAFT - Each boys Head Coach & Rostered Assistant Coach
ONLY (are required to attend the Baseball Draft at the Atwater
Chamber of Commerce, 1181 Third Street, Atwater, CA 95301. Team
equipment bags will be checked out immediately following each
division's scheduled time (click here to view the schedules). Please
leave all children at home as they will not be allowed in the
Chambers during the Draft to keep the noise level down.
FEB 15 - 19, 2010 - BASEBALL
PLAYERS NOTIFIED - All baseball players will be called by
their Coach at the phone number listed on their registration form
and will be given their practice dates and times.
FEB 17, 2010 - SPONSOR APPLICATIONS DEADLINE - This is the last day for
Sponsor Applications to be turned in and have the Sponsor's
name included on the back of a Team's shirt. Sponsor applications
and donations are always welcome year-round, but we will not be able
to add the Sponsor/Donor's name to the shirts after this
date. Please call the AYB hotline.
FEB 20, 2010 - GIRLS SOFTBALL TRYOUTS - Girls
Softball try-outs will be held at the Mitchell Baseball fields
beginning at 10:00am. The start actual time will be based on
the division the player will be playing in this season

COACHES MEETING - To be held at the Atwater Community
Center at 8:00pm. All Teams are required to attend. This means at
least a Coach, Asst Coach and/or designated Team Representative must
attend. Failure to attend may result in loss of potential to
participate in all some/all season-end activities. These may
include, but are not limitted to: All-Star Player Selections,
End-Of-Year Play-Offs, and Closing Ceremonies.

MAKE-UP DAY AT MITCHELL BALL FIELDS STARTING AT
4:45PM.

MAY 1, 2009 - COOKIE DOUGH PICK-UP - ALL FUNDRAISER ITEMS
SOLD MUST BE PICKED UP THIS DAY! If you are unable to
pick-up the items, be sure to designate someone in your place and
inform the league immediately. Most items are perishable and
will require refrigeration so it would be wise that you schedule a
time to drop the items off to the recipients as well, so you do not
have to keep it in your refrigerator/freezer at home. The pick-up
will be next to Field 1 between 9:30am and 3:00pm ONLY! The next
scheduled pick-up will not be until the end-of season Closing Day
Ceremonies due to the fact that we do not have on-site storage for
any items not picked-up and we will not make individual trips to
pick-up items that you forgot to get on-time, regardless of the
reason.

SECOND JET GAME BEGINNING AT 10:45AM. THERE WILL BE THREE
TEEBALL GAMES, TWO JETS GAMES AND ONE GAME IN EACH OTHER

CEREMONIES AT MITCHELL SCHOOL STARTING AT

JUNE 19, 2010 - AYB MODESTO
NUTS DAY! - All players, parents, family members and
friends are invited to help us celebrate the Atwater Youth Baseball,
Softball, & Teeball day at John Thurman Field as
special guests to our local professional baseball team... The
Modesto Nuts! Proceeds from tickets purchase through League Coaches
or Board Members will go towards improving our local league. Please
contact your Coach or the concession stand for tickets. We will be
given lots of special benefits for participating in this
event.
