Atwater Youth Baseball, Softball, & Teeball
Inc. - The primary objective and purpose of this organization shall
be to provide a viable program of baseball, softball, and teeball
for the youth of the community and to firmly implant the ideals of
good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for
authority so they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier youths
and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy
citizens. To achieve this objective and purpose, Atwater Youth
Baseball, Softball, and Teeball (AYBS&T) will provide a
supervised program of baseball, softball and teeball under the rules
and regulations written by AYBS&T. All board members,
officials, coaches, and league members shall bear in mind that the
attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is
secondary, and the molding of future citizens is the primary
importance. The gauge for a successful season is the amount of fun
each player is having, NOT the amount of wins each team
has.
Please note that we are
a family and community orientated league and as such provide the
following:
- Extremely low
registration fees! (We keep the fees as low as possible to allow
more players & families to participate)
- Opening day
"Procession of Players" (Parade) through downtown Atwater followed
by lot of fun opening day activities!
- No late night
ball games on school nights when players should be finishing
homework or getting to bed on time!
- Almost
all games for Baseball, Softball, & Teeball are held at
one location so you can walk across the facilities from one
game field to the next or go back & forth between two
games that might be going on at the same time on
different fields, this includes Baseball, SoftBall & Teeball
Games!
- Almost all
teams practice at one location, so that once again, parents
with multiple players can avoid having to be at two
places at one time or worry about having left their child at one
location while having to go across town to
another.
- We offer both
baseball and separate fast-pitch softball programs that are fun
and prepare players for Jr High School & High School programs.
- Many of our players
move on to play for Atwater, Winton, Merced, &
Livingston Middle Schools, as well as Atwater High School,
Buhach Colony High School, both Merced High Schools &
Livingston High School!
We
are Atwater's Original & Longest
Running Baseball, Softball, &
Teeball League!!!
All
Merced County Residents Are Welcome to Join!
WHEN IT COMES TO
BASEBALL, SOFTBALL & TEEBALL,
